In-Office First Trimester Surgical Abortion

  • You will be in our office for 3-5 hours on the day of your appointment, including recovery time.
  • Do not have anything to eat, drink or smoke after midnight before your appointment. This includes water, gum, candy, ice, mints or any kind of food or drink. This is extremely important for your safety. If you have anything to eat or drink, we will need to reschedule your appointment or you can have a procedure with local anesthesia in some situations.
  • There are no children or guests allowed in the office or waiting areas.
  • Do not wear any jewelry. Please remove all facial piercings and dress comfortably.
  • You will not be able to drive or take public transportation by yourself after the procedure. Please make arrangements for your safe transportation home before you arrive for your procedure. You may take a cab home or use a ride-share service like Lyft.
  • If a payment is due, we accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Apple Pay, tap to pay, debit cards and money orders. For credit card payments, the cardholder must be present with a picture ID to sign for the charges.
  • Bring your picture ID and insurance card to your appointment.
